Synopsis: A Strange & Mystifying Story

The main character of the story is plagued by an unusual circumstance in his immediate family; they all seem to suffer early deaths, which is rumored to be caused by a long-standing curse. When his own grandfather passes away, he becomes afflicted with an incurable illness, leaving him feeling overwhelmed with sadness and solitude. In a state of desperation, he recalls his grandfather's final words, which suggest that they are being watched over by someone. Following the direction of his grandfather's finger, he discovers a strange fossil tooth. By chance, he accidentally gets some of his blood on it, causing a guardian spirit to appear before him. The spirit vows to cure him, but his healing methods are unorthodox, leaving the protagonist feeling uneasy. This series includes two one-shot volumes: Nylon Vinyl and Kami mo Hotoke mo Nai Mono ka in Volume 1, and Ishi Kenbunroku in Volume 2.
